Vichin Puri, M.D., FACS, has extensive training in biliary tract cancers including pancreatic cancers, gallbladder cancers and cancers of bile ducts. Additionally, he has a special interest in complex neuroendocrine diseases, gastric (stomach) cancers and retroperitoneal tumors.

Dr. Puri is trained on robotic platforms and offers minimally invasive surgical options for cancer treatment and other general surgery procedures.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow, American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Puri brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as Director of Surgical Oncology at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

Personal

Outside of medicine, Dr. Puri enjoys competing in triathlons and marathons. He is proud to have achieved the Ironman designation from his successful completion of the Ironman Triathlon. His athletic pursuits go back to his college years, when he was a collegiate soccer player.
