About Me

Position

Medical Director, Liver Institute Research; Medical Director, Hepatobiliary Tumor Program

 

Parvez Mantry, M.D., AGAF, FAASLD, CPE, is a board certified transplant hepatologist with expertise in treating viral hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma and autoimmune and cholestatic liver diseases.

Dr. Mantry is well recognized for his experience in the area of liver transplantation at a high-volume transplant center. His love of research has produced an immense knowledge of liver transplantation, leading to presentations at both national and international conferences as well as contributions to peer-reviewed journal publications.

His participation in several clinical trials as a site principal investigator allows Dr. Mantry to remain at the forefront of liver treatment options.

Dr. Mantry holds many roles at The Liver Institute. He is the current Medical Director of the Hepatobiliary Tumor Program; Liver Research; and Scientific Affairs, Innovation and New Technology for Methodist Health System. He is also the Associate Program Director for the Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
