COVID-19 Update and Policy Changes

Patient and staff safety is the top priority at Methodist Transplant Specialists. In addition to CDC guidelines, we are taking necessary precautions as our doors remain open at this time. We’ve updated our clinic policies and we have now implemented virtual and telephone visits.

The Methodist Transplant Specialists

We Invite You to Meet Our Team

The Methodist Transplant Specialists have consistently achieved greater than expected outcomes, as compared to all similar programs in the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recepients data. Our doctors have been named Texas Super Doctors 2018-2019, and our team received acclaim in 2018 for performing the 100th Robotic Whipple operation. We also have a designated robotic epicenter for general surgery and Robotic Hepatobilliary Surgery. Robotic surgeries are still performed by a physician, but with the benefit of the steady and precise movements offered by machines.

Our specialists have the expertise – gained through decades of clinical and academic experience – to accurately diagnose diseases of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas. Our physicians remain easily accessible and readily available to meet the needs of both referring physicians and patients alike.
