Dr. Adil Habib completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., then completed a hepatology fellowship at St. Louis University Health Sciences in St. Louis, Mo. He specializes in the management of viral hepatitis, complications of portal hypertension and cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma, adult liver transplantation, medical complications after liver transplantation, and other gastrointestinal disorders. Board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology, Dr. Habib is a member of several professional organizations, including the Fellow of American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Dr. Habib participates in clinical research and is actively involved in teaching and writing review articles and manuscripts for medical journals and textbooks.
Personal Interests
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and watching sports - especially tennis & cricket.
