Dr. Vahora completed his internal medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center, after which he completed his hepatology fellowship and his gastroenterology fellowship at Florida Hospital Transplant Center and East Carolina University / Vidant Medical Center, respectively. Dr. Vahora specializes in the management of portal hypertension complications, liver cirrhosis, alcoholic liver disease, viral hepatitis, cholestatic and autoimmune liver diseases, fatty liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, adult liver transplantation, medical complications after liver transplantation, as well as other gastrointestinal disorders.
He is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, American Gastroenterology Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Vahora participates in various clinical research and is actively involved in medical education.
Personal Interests
Outside of medicine, I enjoy a variety of sports including soccer, football, and baseball. He’s an avid runner who also enjoys the outdoors whether it’s fishing, hiking, or kayaking. In addition to this, he’s a live music fan and enjoys traveling.
