Kidney Social Summit

This past weekend, the National Kidney Foundation hosted a 'Kidney Social Summit' which featured Amna Ilahe, MD, Director of Living Donor Program and Transplant Nephrologist with Methodist Transplant Specialists at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. 

Dr. Ilahe was invited to speak to attendees about living donation and the transplantation process, two key junction points for patients with kidney failure. Other topics included Ask the Nephrologist and nutritional advice. 

This educational seminar was tailored for anyone affected by kidney disease, including patients and their families. This summit provided a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insights into kidney disease, connect with others facing similar challenges, and access helpful resources.
